(Moved from guestbook)

OK, I know that most bands you placed on the "Christian Bands" are not Christian bands, and you say it yourself, that you do not THINK that they are. SO why place them there? Simply, I understand that the internet is free access to say what you want, but give the bands some respect and if you are going to label htem, at least be smart about it.

Labels suck as it is; it’s like judging. Any good Christian knows that God is the only one that can judge. Good photos though.

My boyfriend says (and I quote):shuthte[oops]up. People like him are what make a simple fight turn into a hate crime.

No, you don’t. Most of the bands on my Christian bands list are Christian bands.

I have labelled them exactly as they are. A Christian band is a band whose purpose is to sing about Christ, or a band that’s composed of Christians, or a band who embodies Christian ideals.  There are a few bands in my list who don’t exactly fit that description, and I’ve made a note of that where appropriate.

What’s a "good Christian"?  A Christian who doesn’t sin?  Or a "Christian" who thinks they’re better than everyone else because they pretend that they don’t judge other people?  Or a "Christian" who goes around saying that it’s wrong to judge people, when God has commanded us to do just that?  If you’re going to pretend to espouse a cause, at least learn what it stands for before you do a bad job of representing it.  The idea that "judging is bad" or "Christians shouldn’t judge" is a man-made concept, and it’s in direct contradiction with God’s Word.

What does your boyfriend’s lack of effective problem-solving skills have to do with me?  Just because he can’t constructively discuss an issue, that doesn’t give him the right to perpetrate a hate crime.  And although "shutthef***up" is an amazingly intelligent way to express an opinion, I must say that his words don’t help your fallacious argument about the bands on my list, nor do they improve your incorrect assertion regarding judging.
