Relocation

I’m thinking of moving this site from nodivisions.com to antio.net.

The nodivisions domain name has served me well, but ever since I purchased the antio.net domain last year, I’ve been wanting to do something more with it than just have it be the address of my home network.  I just think that "antio.net" is so short and so cool, and I feel like I’m letting its full potential go to waste because no one except me ever uses it.

There are quite a few pages on the internet that link to nodivisions.com, so I’d still maintain this name for at least a year, and maybe indefinitely.  It would simply auto-redirect to the corresponding page on antio.net.

Any thoughts?

Sounds cool to me. If you set it up so that http://nodivisions.com/?886 and http://antio.net/?886 brought you to the same page, for example,  that would be cool. I do the same with my website - if you change the .com to .net or .org it all goes to the same place.

Well, Andy voted via IM and said that nodivisions has a ring to it that antio.net just doesn’t have.

Is that what you all think?  Is that why no one else has responded??  You all hate it.  Go on, just say it, it’s OK.

I see Pros and Cons to both:
nodivisions.com is longer than antio.net; antio.net is shorter to type in for lazy people like me
.com is more ubiquitous than .net for the lay-man
nodivisions is two english words pushed together and maybe easier to remember than antio

No matter what, in the end it is still your decision. I like the dual-domain strategy personally.

I love ’nodivisions’ and get many inquisitive comments when I direct someone here.  It makes people curious enough to take a look.  Would hate to see it fade away but change is good.  It’s progress; we all need to grow.  Go for it!  So, what happens to my personal email address?  I know you have all that handled, still thought I’d ask.
