Rechargeable batteries.

There are big differences between different types of rechargeable batteries.  Probably the most important difference is that Nickel-Cadmium and Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiCd and NiMH) batteries should be FULLY DISCHARGED before recharging, but Lithium batteries (LiIon, LiPolymer, etc) should NEVER be fully discharged.
