Colorado Trip, Day 0: Flights

We spent a whole day in travel, leaving for the Pittsburgh airport around 1pm, getting a connecting flight in Chicago, arriving in Denver around 9pm, and finally the drive to Steamboat Springs ended at 2am.  The switch from Eastern Standard Time to Mountain Time "gains" you two hours though, so 1pm->2am actually took us 15 hours.

I forgot to adjust the time on my camera -2 hours, so all the EXIF timestamps on these Colorado photos will be off by two hours.  For example a photo claiming to be shot at 6pm was really shot at 4pm.  (Except for the ones in the air near Pittsburgh, which would be on time, and around Chicago, which would be only 1 hour behind, etc.)  I realize that this detail is inconsequential to you; it's here more for my reference.

Approaching Chicago.

Approaching Chicago.

Approaching Chicago.

Approaching Chicago.

The second plane had these cool LCD screens in the back of every seat, showing you flight information and maps and stuff.

I think these specs are all pretty amazing: speed of 1 mile every 7 seconds, altitude of over 7 miles, and temperature of 67 degrees below zero.

I think that about sums up all there is to say about Nebraska.

"Last Chance" for what?
