Meta Tags

I was at someone’s house last night trying to show them your web site but I couldn’t find it.  I searched for what I thought would be key words (anthony, truth, linux).  Do you put meta tags in to make your site easy to search for in google, yahoo, etc?

I have the link to your site on my work computer, but I couldn’t remember the URL.

No, I don’t use meta tags.  I suppose I should.  I tried them a while back, but they didn’t seem to improve my rankings in search results, so I canned them.  Maybe I didn’t give them enough time.

Note to self: they know about the plan!

Steev:  it took me a second, but, I get it.  At first I was like "No divisions?  No 1st Marine Division?  Yes 2nd Army Regiment?  Whaaa?"

Anthony:  I only know about the first part of the plan so far...

re: ’no divisions’ original intention; 1 Corinthians 1:9-11.  Is this right Anthony?  If no, point me in the right direction.

I hope my comment to Steve didn’t come across as disrespectful or anything.  I have an odd sense of humor.

This is the best "web" experience I have ever had.  Thanks for the great content  (truth, linux, fun) and the impressive site.

Not at all Patrick, but thanks for considering that.  And thanks for the compliments on the site... we aim to please : )  (And by "we," I mean "me.")

Oh, and I’m one of the most sarcastic and laid-back people I know, so in general I’d probably assume that a comment like yours was benign/joking, unless it was blatantly something else.

And yes, mom.  (Though I think you cheated!)  (Or not.)
