Well it’s 6am, I can’t sleep, and I can’t study any more... the words (ok, symbols and numbers, really) are all becoming a blur to me.  Lately I’ve been thinking that I should post a screenshot, because they’re fun and I’ve never done that before.  (For those who don’t know, this is a game where you find a really cool background image, and then set up some cool-looking programs to make it look like you were just working on them, and then take a screenshot of it.)  Oh, and I’m bucking the unwritten law of screenshots that says all screenshots must have at least 8 different gimp dialogs in them.  So... there you go.  Click the image to see the full-size one.

that background is reaaaaaallly loud

i’d post a screenshot somewhere except that my entire desktop is black and my tasks / everything are 22px high, so there’s no point.  my aim client is all black with grey/white text too; too much working at night i guess =D

Ya - good one. Cracks me up about ’screenshots’ - loud backgrounds with transparent xterms are impossible to do real work on. Suggestion for improvement: your background needs some gratuitous sexual content to really compete with the big boys.  -Jeff (Seattle)
P.S. Love the terror alert level. What’s above Ernie?

Teehehe.  Good call; I did neglect to include the gratuitous sexual content, and that’s at least as important as the gimp dialogs.

Ah... I’d guess that Oscar (he’s red, right?) would be the fifth and highest terror alert level.  I don’t actually know.  If you hover your mouse over the image, you’ll see the site from which the graphic loads; it changes automatically as the actual terror alert level changes.

OK, so I went and looked, and above Ernie is Elmo (who is red), not Oscar (who is green).  I clearly cannot be trusted to make decisions which are based on knowledge of Sesame Street trivia.
