I could do that, but I don’t think I will.  Anytime a program auto-formats anything, particularly word processor programs, it drives me CRAZY.  I don’t want to contribute to that.

On the other hand, it might be fun to do just as an exercise.  Maybe I’ll try it and add it as an option that’s disabled by default.
