I had a problem with "kicker" disappearing while using KDE on RHL 7.3. I found the solution on your site, but now I can’t find it using a search.
I am trying to document my solution. I think it was just to launch "kicker" from a term. Is this right?
Yep, that’s all. That solution is on my linux page, by the way. If you were searching with the search box that’s on the top of the messageboard, you wouldn’t have found it, because that only searches the board. (I know that’s not exactly clear when you’re at the root of my site, but I didn’t want to clutter it up by saying "search the messageboard" so I just said "search:". )
I used your handy link to the Linux page and yes, it is right there. I found your friendly site while looking for a solution to this "disappearing kicker" problem. I was using Yahoo search and it took many tries to get anything. Your site had this rare information.
Great advice for kde people. Any idea what to tell the gnome folks or do they not have this problem?
