Don’t see you on aim... this one is totally broken for me... the pictures run into the text runs into the banner on the side. There’s about 40% of a page’s worth of blank white space on the right side.
Hm, you might have to do a Control-F5 or a Control-R to refresh, or maybe clear your browser’s cache. I tested it in both IE and Mozilla.
yea, you were right. I didn’t even think of that. I don’t think there’s a difference between F5 and control-F5. This layout is an order of magnitude better than the old one.
I liked the previous theme, but this theme also looks good. It reminds me of Garrett’s site, at least the way the pictures are arranged at the top.
I need to update my site’s theme one of these days, but my summer class is keeping me busy enough!
Control-F5 forces IE to re-download all the files, bypassing its cache. When I’m developing a new theme and uploading a new stylesheet every few seconds, I need to press Control; just hitting F5 does a reload but doesn’t re-download any cached files.
Kev: actually Garrett’s current theme reminds me of my old white theme in terms of the photos at the top.
I hope you didn’t think that I was saying that ripped off Garrett! I don’t remember the old white theme that you mentioned, but I do like most of your themes, including this latest incarnation. The photos across the top look good. I think I may have to borrow the idea for my own site one of these days.
Nah, I didn’t think that : ) But when I visited his site for a quick look-see, I realized that his current header is very similar to that old one of mine: 4 photos at the top, and the same colors except inverted (white bg / gray borders). Also, I said "white" but I meant and linked to "clean;" white is less similar.
Gotcha. I just wanted to be clear and not have you think I was accusing you of plagarism etc.
Like the first reply from Steve, the other day this page looked like he described and I thought the page was broken. That’s exactly how Brian and Heidi’s page looked also when I notified Encodable Industries. Glad to see both sites are ok on my pc now. And, I do like this newest member of the theme family :)
