Clearly this is freaking nasty looking, but how do I know if it’s actually bad? It doesn’t seem to have a bad smell.
Well, I don’t see any help from anyone and I didn’t have the answer so what did you find out?
Not much. I’ve only had one other one since then, and it was fine. Considering that this gross-looking one didn’t smell and was well before its expiration date, I figure it was just the whey and stuff separating out. It’s a highly unappetizing thing to see when you’re getting ready to tear into a delicious yogurt, unfortunately, but I think it’s probably safe to eat.
