Michael Chiklis

Is it just me, or does Michael Chiklis look way younger now, on The Shield, than he did 10 years ago on The Commish?

(I just saw The Shield for the first time last night, and it’s stinking awesome.  I’m going to have to watch it every week now.)

Please, please, do not watch or endorse this program.  PTC and AFA have both condemned this program as being morally bankrupt.  Lots of problems.

From PTC:

"The Shield chronicles the exploits of a rogue cop with a level of graphic material – including nudity, depictions of sexual activity and explicit language – commonly associated with the most shocking premium cable shows."

In the two hours that I watched, there was no nudity or "depictions of sexual activity."  As for being morally bankrupt, the subject of the show is a precinct where some of the cops are corrupt.  It depicts that, but doesn’t endorse it, which I think would be necessary for "morally bankrupt" to be accurate.

Check the history bro’

It is quite a bad show.

Just thought you should know.

They just came out with another really bad episode.  Onemilliondads.com (American Family Association) just did a review on the episode that aired on April 6th.  There is no reason for this kind of programming.  This show is an example of why I will never get cable TV.

Let me guess... you’ve never seen the show yourself

Actually, smart guy, I have.  I was watching at a friends house and had to quickly turn the channel because they had pushed their way into an apartment and a prostitute’s naked butt was showing.

Good guess though.  Keep guessing.  Keep guessing your way through life.

So you watched a small part of one episode, probably long after having decided that it was "morally bankrupt."  I could’ve guessed as much.  I did, in fact.  I must be a half-decent guesser.

I’ll keep guessing my way, to the best of my own ability; you keep letting the PTC tell you what to think.

Actually, I pray to God everyday for what to think.  The AFA and other organizations are just here to help give families a fighting chance.

It is my responsibility to raise two girls and keep them as far out of Satan’s way as possible.

If you can’t appreciate anything I just typed, then please respond.  I will pray for you as well.
