Hi, I was just wondering where this quote:
"To say that "All men are this" or "All women are that" is the height of naivete. It’s preposterous to presume that one’s experience with one-millionth of one percent of the earth’s population is somehow representative of the whole of its inhabitants."
came from (like if you said or something, you know.) I love it and was gonna one time put it in my profile, but that I’d ask for permission first. Thanks so much.

I’m trying to remember what I said that in response to.  I remember being really angry because some girl said and believed something of the form "men can never understand xyz because all men are abc."  It’s irritating when someone makes a joke to that effect, but this person was actually serious.

Yea, I have so many female friends who claim all guys are jerks. And my male friends claiming that all women are evil. I never said that honestly and I saw the quote and loved it. I tried to tell my friends that not all men/women are whatever. No one believes me though, however the quote put it nicely, even if it won’t change their minds, at least it puts things into perspective.
